With the likes of Beat FM, MTV Base Africa, Cool FM, Soundcity TV, Hip TV, Not Just OK, TooXclusive, Jaguda, Pulse NG, 360 Nobs and Tayo TV among other tastemakers, showing massive support for UK Afrobeats rising star Selecta Aff in recent months, the British Ghanaian crooner returns in collaboration with YBNL boss Olamide, for his new single titled ‘No Rush’.
The official ‘No Rush’ visuals have already garnered 50,000 views on YouTube in less than a week, and the record itself from Selecta Aff and Olamide, is a glorious Nigerian/Ghanaian fusion Afropop record, produced by award-winning hitmaker Young John, who has been producing smash records for the likes of Davido, Lil Kesh, Patoranking, Wizkid and of course Olamide, in recent years.
Over the past few months, Selecta Aff has become one of the leading artists in UK Afrobeats, first with the success of ‘El Shaddai’ and ‘Shele Mo’, which have been streamed over half a million times across YouTube and Soundcloud alone. On the back of ‘No Rush’, Selecta will be heading to Canada on tour, with a club tour in Nigeria and his debut EP, scheduled for the summer.
